This role requires a highly capable cook who leads by example on the line, ensures consistent and high-integrity food execution, and supports the development of strong kitchen systems and people.

In the immediate term, this position calls for a dependable, disciplined, and skilled culinary professional who can execute at a high level during service and support operational consistency. Over time, this role has the opportunity to grow into full kitchen leadership, overseeing systems, team development, and culinary direction.

While everyone else is excited to play in the snow we are geeking out over a cheese delivery from Italy! Caciocavallo is special all on its own—traditionally crafted to hang from horseback, which gives it its distinctive shape. This particular cheese comes from Irpinia, where cows graze in the mountains, resulting in a more herbaceous, complex flavor. It’s then cave-aged, allowing those flavors to deepen and fully develop. We’re so excited to serve it alongside our charred onion agnolotti—it’s a perfect match. You’re about to fall in love.

Meet The Chef 🤌
Dustin Busby was born in Charleston, SC and began cooking in his hometown at a very young age. After moving to Orlando, FL Dustin began working with Disney. They soon offered to send him to the Le Cordon Bleu program in Orlando. After graduating, Dustin moved back to Charleston, SC and began working with the Woodlands, a Relais & Chateaux property. Here he was promoted to Executive Sous Chef. During his time there, Dustin spent his vacations staging at restaurants around the world, including The French Laundry, The Fat Duck, and Le Manoir. Dustin then moved on and started working with Blackberry Farm.

During his time at Blackberry he was the Executive Sous Chef of the Barn. He then moved on to become the Farmstead Manager in charge of the cheese, salami, preserves and over all farming operations until 2013. Blackberry Farm helped him combine his passion for cooking in a restaurant with his love for farming and producing artisan food products.

DSB Provisions is something he and his wife, Stacey, have been hoping to do for their family and community for a long time. And finally, the doors are almost ready to open and welcome guests.

DSB Provisons is hoping to open to the public early February.
